Fitness Classes

Participate in a wide variety of free cardio, strength and flexibility classes included in a Y membership.


The YMCA offers a wide variety of fitness classes for members. We also allow non-members to register for many of these classes (some require registration and fees for non-members).

Yoga Stretch and Restore


This class is designed to help heal the effects of chronic stress due to our fast pace and busy lives. Classes will focus on a series of gentle floor stretches followed by restorative poses using bolsters, straps, and blankets. Special attention will be placed on alignment, and relaxation, through proper use of the breath.


Hatha Yoga


During the day we make choices that hurt our bodies – knowingly or unknowingly. Lower back pain, wrist issues, and loss of up to 1 inch in height can happen to all of us after long days of sitting in front of a computer. Join us for Yoga classes – We use strengthening and lengthening poses you will love. Common aches and pains will be addressed, and breathing techniques will be introduced throughout this class.


Vinyasa Flow Yoga


This class syncs movement with each breath and builds endurance through sequencing of poses similar to traditional Sun Salutations. The progression of poses are designed to warm up the body and take you from basic postures to more intermediate or advanced movements as your muscles become more malleable.


Bone Builders


This class is designed to improve balance, increase muscle strength and bone density, and help fight osteoporosis through the use of lightweight bearing exercises. Students will participate at their own pace.




Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.


Zumba Gold


Perfect For: Active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. How It Works: The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.




Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you’ll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.


Zumba Step


Perfect for those who are looking to feel the burn, baby! Looking to strengthen and tone your legs and glutes? We combine the awesome toning and strengthening power of Step aerobics, with the fun fitness-party that only Zumba® brings to the dance-floor. Step right up!




PiYo is a fusion workout based on the principals of Yoga and Pilates. It is a low impact, yet high energy workout that will improve your balance, strength and flexibility as well as burn calories, promote weight loss and visibly improve muscle tone with regular practice. PiYo is a wonderfully dynamic and endlessly variable workout that is suitable for all fitness levels.




This class is a cardio class, based on max interval training. This class will push you past your limits with athletic/plyometric drills mixed with intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training. No equipment or weights needed. You don’t have to be in extreme shape– levels of each exercise are provided. Time to dig deep!


Turbo Kick


The evolution of kick boxing is here! Jammin music, ab sculpting moves, and high intensity cardio kickboxing! Punch, kick and jab your way to a leaner body and a tighter core! Turbo Kick® mixes kickboxing with FUN and simple dance moves to music that makes you wanna move!


P90X Live


Our NEW P90X group fitness class uses the science of Muscle Confusion™ to constantly challenge your body with new moves and routines. So your results never plateau, and you get in better shape in less time. Combined with great music, high energy and amazing trainers, you are guaranteed to be motivated!


Boot Camp


How can working out so hard be so much fun!? That’s what you’ll be saying with this class! This class will provide an awesome total body workout that will have you fit and toned in no time. This class is designed to push you to your max, help you break through your personal boundaries and push to be as fit and strong as you put your mind to.


Hot Hula


Hot Hula Fitness is a fun, new and exciting dance workout. It provides a “total body workout” in 6o minutes. Inspired by the dances of the Pacific Islands, Hot Hula Fitness incorporates easy to perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats fused with funky Reggae music, resulting in a modern, hip fitness workout. All ages and fitness levels will enjoy Hot Hula Fitness.
