YMCA’s Anchorage Emergency Orders Response

After reviewing the Mayor’s new emergency order EO-15, and how it affects our current operations and member experience, we have determined that there will be little to no impact to your experience. The YMCA of Alaska will continue to keep both of our facilities open to serve you in the safest way possible.

We have already limited occupancy of our facilities, as we required in EO-14, and all areas are within a 15-person capacity limit where required. We will continue to monitor all mandates and adjust as necessary for the safety and comfort of our staff, members, and guests.

Masks and social distancing continue to be mandated in our facilities in accordance with EO-13

Keep in mind that reservations are available at our Southside location for the small pool as well as the racquetball and basketball courts.

  • Bethany says:

Just checking in, is this response for the latest mandate starting Dec 1st? Just hoping/praying that we’ll be able to continue to have the reservation system for racquetball court and small pool – it’s been a LIFESAVER for my two young kids and we feel very safe. Thank you!

  • ANGELA D PETER says:

How much would it cost to walk in the pool? I had bilateral knee replacement and am interested in the pool

    • Nate Root says:

Our day pass rate is $15 with membership as low $51. We also offer financial assistance for Memberships. You can find out more information by visiting one of our Front Desks
